En el día de hoy Citrix ha puesto para Download su tan esperado XenClient en su versión Express, esta increible versión de este nuevo sistema de virtualización dispone además de un interesante módulo denominazo Synchronizer, que nos permitirá realizar Backups de nuestro entorno local virtual de una forma sencilla, además de incluir un entorno de control centralizado y de distibución, XenClient además incluye interesantes funcionalidades 3D con soporte HD Multimedia. (Incluimos una serie de Videos realmente interesantes).

XenClient dispone de unas necesidades realmente importantes, el HCL actualmente disponible es el siguiente,
- Actualmente es necesario disponer de 4GB de RAM o más.
- Procesador Intel Core 2 Duo con Intel VT-x o Intel VT-d (Intel vPro Technology)
- 160 GB de disco duro o más de espacio recomendado
- Tarjeta gráfica integrada Intel 4500MHD
- XenClient no soporta memoria RAM no-simetrica DIMMs.
Los sistemas operativos soportados son los siguientes:
- Microsoft Windows 7 32 bits
- Microsoft Windows Vista 32 bits SP2
- Microsoft Windows XP 32 bits SP3

- A nivel de los modelos 15'4" Premium, UltraSharTM WUXGA (1920x1200) con High Brightness (Wide View) no está soportado.
- Únicamente los modelos con 15,4" Premium WXGA + (1440x900) LED Display (Wide View) y los 15,4" Premium WXGA (1280x800) están soportados.
La Instalación o modificación del software directamente en el XenClient host file system no está soportado.
